GIS LAND RECORDS MANAGER
Salary Range: $56,614-$89,480
Minimum Education and Experience
High School diploma and 5 years of geographical information systems (GIS), computer science, paralegal, or land records experience; or an Associate's degree in geographic information systems, geography, computer science, paralegal technology or related field and 3 years of GIS, land records, or paralegal experience; or Bachelor's degree in geographic information systems, geography, computer science, or a related field and 1 year of GIS, land records, or paralegal experience; or any equivalent combination of training and experience which provides the required skills, knowledge and abilities. One (1) year of lead or supervisory experience preferred. Possession of a valid driver's license issued by the State of North Carolina and an acceptable driving record. The employee must: 1) attain the North Carolina Property Mappers Association (NCPMA) Mapper designation within two years of employment; 2) attain certification as a State Certified Mapper through the Department of Secretary of State, Land Records Division within two years of employment; 3) pass the NCPMA Senior Mapper exam within three years of employment; and 4) pass the University of North Carolina School of Government's Property Tax Listing and Assessing course within two years of employment.
