Detention Officer (Basic)

DETENTION OFFICER (BASIC)
Salary Range:        $54,020-$85,374

Minimum Education and Experience
Must have a high school diploma or GED. Eligible for Probationary or General Certification as a Detention Officer by the North Carolina Sheriff's Training and Standards Commission. Prefer Detention Officer Certification. Valid North Carolina driver license required. Requires a Pitt County Sheriff's Office Application Packet (which can be obtained from the Pitt County Human Resources Department) and is due in Human Resources by 5:00 pm on the closing date. The Packet is not available on the county website.
