As an Employment Specialist, you will assist persons with disabilities gain competitive employment and provide one-on-one training in community-based work settings. You will connect with community employers to help find gainful employment.

Primary responsibilities include:

  • Developing and maintaining contact with employers within the local business community
  • Working with clients to develop employment readiness skills to enter the workforce
  • Conduct on-site job coaching at community employment site.
  • Completing job analysis and skills assessments for clients
  • Evaluating individuals’ progress 

Requirements:

  • Bachelor’s degree preferred, Associate's degree required.
  • 1-2 years’ experience required. Case management experience a plus.
  • May be required to work occasional evenings, holidays, and weekends. Flex-time allowed.
  • Excellent communication and report-writing skills.
  • Dedication to excellent customer relations/experience.
  • Valid driver’s license and acceptable driving record.
