As a Community Support Specialist, you will help facilitate competitive work in integrated work settings for individuals with disabilities. You will assist the employee and employer with issues of job performance in a way that assures on-going success at the job site.

Primary responsibilities include:
Helps facilitate competitive work in integrated work settings for individuals with disabilities and helps the worker and employer with issues of job performance in a way that assures on-going success at the job site.
Maintains continuous communication with client, family referral source, and others as appropriate regarding client’s progress.  Documents as appropriate in client records.

Requirements:

  • Bachelor’s degree required.
  • 1-2 years’ experience required. Case management experience a plus.
  • May be required to work occasional evenings, holidays, and weekends. Flex-time allowed.
  • Excellent communication and report-writing skills.
  • Dedication to excellent customer relations/experience.
  • Valid driver’s license and acceptable driving record.
