Salary Range: $50,499 - $70,403
Bonus Range: 5% to 15% Base Salary
Position Summary
The Regional Market Leader-SENC is responsible for leading the Greenville branch while driving strategic growth across Telco Credit Union's Southeast North Carolina (SENC) market. This hybrid role blends branch operations leadership with external business development, partnership cultivation, and community engagement. The Region Market Leader will ensure branch performance, support member success, and serve as a visible ambassador of Telco CU's mission throughout the region.
Primary Responsibilities
Branch Leadership & Operations
- Oversee all day-to-day functions of the Greenville branch including member service, compliance, security, and operational efficiency.
- Hire, train, coach, and evaluate branch staff to ensure high performance and alignment with Telco CU standards.
- Ensure compliance with all federal, state, and credit union policies and regulations.
- Monitor key branch metrics: loan performance, deposit growth, members satisfaction, and employee productivity.
- Support Teller and Member Service Representative duties as needed to ensure smooth branch operations.
Regional Business Development
- Lead business development efforts across the SENC region to drive membership, lending, and brand awareness.
- Cultivate and maintain relationships with Select Employee Groups (SEG), Auto/RV/Motorcycle dealers, brokers, realtors, insurance agents, and business partners.
- Represent Telco CU at community events, civic organizations, and networking opportunities.
- Coordinate SEG onboarding, enrollment meetings, and ongoing relationship management.
- Track outreach efforts using CRM tools and adjust strategy based on analytics and market feedback.
Sales & Member Experience
- Foster a member-first environment by ensuring staff are trained and motivated to identify needs and offer relevant solutions.
- Promote the credit union's full range of products and services, including digital, lending, deposit, and investment solutions.
- Lead and monitor branch-wide sales and service goals with an emphasis on cross-selling and member education.
- Encourage a culture where each interaction helps members make money, save money, or save time.

Qualifications
Required:
- Bachelor's degree or equivalent (5+ years in financial services, branch management, or business development).
Preferred:
- Credit Union or Community Bank experience is strongly preferred.
- Familiarity with Southeast NC markets and demographics.
- Working knowledge of NCUA regulations, consumer lending, and SED development.
- Strong background in community engagement and external relationship building.
Physical Requirements & Work Environment
- Frequent standing, walking, bending, and occasional lifting (20-50 lbs.).
- Use of computer, phone, and presentation equipment required.
- Travel within the Southeast NC region to build and maintain relationships.
- Mix of in-branch, community, and remote work environments with variable conditions.
