Optimum Business and the Greenville-Pitt County Chamber of Commerce Announce Lifting Up Small Business Grants

Optimum Business will award 25 small businesses each a $5,000 grant to further support the long-term success of small businesses in Greenville-Pitt County

Greenville, North Carolina (June 9, 2025) – Optimum Business, the leading provider of fiber internet, mobile, TV, and phone services, along with their partner, the Greenville-Pitt County Chamber of Commerce, today announce that the Lifting Up Small Businesses Grants are open for applications. These grants will directly fund 25 small businesses across Greenville-Pitt County area. The program will distribute $5,000 grants to each selected business recipient to contribute to the prosperity of the communities where they serve.

Optimum Business and the Greenville-Pitt County Chamber of Commerce expect to announce grant recipients later this year. Once the winners are announced, Optimum Business will also host recognition events this fall with local officials and key community partners joining in on the celebrations. 

Optimum continues to find new ways to deepen its community presence and connect its customers to what matters most, which includes supporting, understanding, and celebrating what makes each of its local communities unique.
Since 2020, Optimum has funded 209 classroom projects in Pitt County totaling more than $37,000 through our partnership with DonorsChoose and has provided $3,000 in educational grants to Partners in Education to further support local schools and educators.

The company has also supported FIRST® Robotics teams in Pitt County since 2019, with more than $60k in grants and regional event sponsorships. In addition, Optimum has contributed approximately $20,000 in donations to local community groups over the past four years. This includes support for NC Wesleyan, the Boys & Girls Club, as well as various nonprofits and community partners.
