Nutrition Assessment Specialist (Home Delivered Meals)

Nutrition Assessment Specialist | 30-35 hours per week

The Council on Aging is seeking an experienced and qualified human services professional to join our team.
 

Key Responsibilities:

• Assess clients for the Home-Delivered Meal Program

• Determine eligibility and discuss available resources/services

Qualifications:

• Preferred: Bachelor's degree in social work, psychology, sociology, or food services (such as Meals on Wheels)

• Experience: 2-3 years in social service delivery, particularly with elderly or family populations

• Strong independent judgment and attention to detail 

• Above-average computer, organizational, and communication skills
