Building Hope Community Life Center seeks a passionate and experienced leader to serve as our Executive Director. In this pivotal role, you will be the spiritual and administrative leader, responsible for driving our mission forward and ensuring a thriving future for the organization.

About the Role:

As Executive Director, you will wear many hats. You will be a spiritual guide, a strategic planner, a community champion, and a financial steward. You will provide daily leadership for the staff, set the overall direction for educational and enrichment programming, and cultivate a positive and productive environment for both students and employees.

What You'll Do:

• Provide spiritual direction and support for staff, fostering a values-driven culture.

• Develop and implement strategic plans aligned with the organization's mission, vision, and core values.

• Mentor staff in embodying our core values and character qualities.

• Oversee all programs, policies, and staff development to ensure optimal effectiveness.

• Cultivate strong relationships with partners, donors, and community resources.

• Lead fundraising and public relations initiatives to secure financial sustainability.

• Champion family engagement and collaboration with community networks.

• Oversee budget development, monitoring, and responsible financial management.

• Create a safe and nurturing environment for children, promoting a positive learning atmosphere.

• Communicate effectively with the Board of Directors, providing regular updates and reports.

• Perform other duties as assigned by the Board.

Who You Are:

• Hold a minimum of a Bachelor's Degree (or equivalent experience) in a relevant field.

• Possess at least one year of leadership experience in a non-profit, school, or social service organization.

• Embody the characteristics of a servant leader, demonstrating humility, kindness, and a genuine desire to serve others.

• Be culturally aware and sensitive to the needs of the minority community and urban youth.

• Possess strong interpersonal and collaborative leadership skills.

• Be a strategic thinker with a creative and innovative approach to problem-solving.

• Demonstrate excellent public relations and financial development skills.
