DETENTION OFFICER (BASIC)
Salary Range:        $54,020-$85,374

Minimum Education and Experience
Must have a high school diploma or GED. Eligible for Probationary or General Certification as a Detention Officer by the North Carolina Sheriff's Training and Standards Commission. Prefer Detention Officer Certification. Valid North Carolina driver license required. This position requires a Pitt County Sheriff’s Office Application Packet that must be obtained from and returned to the Pitt County Sheriff’s Office (100 New Hope Rd. Greenville, NC 27834).
