· Must have a valid driver's license
· Ability to use mechanical equipment, such as power tools, high pressure washer, etc.
· Evaluate, repair (minor) and maintain plumbing, electrical and HVAC systems in the building
. Ensure vehicles are maintained and all oil changes, etc are performed on time
· Inspect fire, carbon monoxide, smoke and other safety systems
· Lift up to 50 lbs., to load and transport bulk supplies, furniture, fixtures, etc.
· Receive and respond to reports of mechanical or maintenance issues
· Ability to work independently with minimal supervision. Receive and respond to reports of mechanical or maintenance issues
· Assemble furniture, desks, tables, chairs, etc. Do minor repairs and adjustments.
· Assist with moving office and classroom furniture, fixtures and equipment to support staffing changes, relocations, remodels, program expansion and training events.
· Must have the ability to climb heights and onto ladders.
· Perform routine inspections and regular up keep of interior and exterior areas to ensure areas are free of safety hazards.
· Perform seasonal deep cleaning and maintenance of building exterior, windows and playground equipment.
· Perform upkeep of outside areas, landscaped beds, play grounds and parking lots to ensure they are keep clean, neat and safe.
· Perform custodial work – clean rooms windows, lights, floors (vacuum & mop)
· Communicate with facilities management about any work that requires outside expert assistance

Pay: $12.00 - $15.00 per hour
