Position Overview
Are you an experienced early childhood educator looking for the next step in your career? Children’s World Learning Center is seeking a highly organized, enthusiastic, and team-oriented Administrative Assistant to support the daily operations of one of our centers. This role is perfect for someone with a background in early childhood education who is ready to grow into future leadership.

The Administrative Assistant works closely with the Center Director to ensure a smooth and efficient experience for staff, families, and children. If you’re passionate about early learning and enjoy working in a fast-paced environment, we want to hear from you!

Key Responsibilities

  • Assist with center operations and help maintain compliance with licensing standards
  • Provide administrative support including scheduling, staff coordination, and documentation
  • Welcome families, answer phones, manage records, and support enrollment efforts
  • Serve as a positive and professional point of contact for families and staff
  • Step into classrooms as needed to maintain ratios and support teachers
  • Help plan and support center events and school-wide initiatives
  • Participate in leadership training with opportunity to grow into Assistant Director role

"Preferred" Qualifications

  • 2+ years experience in early childhood education or licensed childcare setting
  • Strong interpersonal and communication skills
  • Basic knowledge of NC childcare licensing preferred
  • Ability to multi-task and stay calm in a busy environment
  • Experience with administrative tasks or office coordination is a plus
  • Early childhood credentials, Associate’s or Bachelor's degree in a related field preferred
  • Must be 21 years or older
