Humane Society of Eastern Carolina to host annual “A Night to Paws” fundraiser in April
GREENVILLE, N.C. (March 4, 2020) – The Humane Society of Eastern Carolina (HSEC) is working
to save the lives of hundreds of homeless animals in Eastern North Carolina by raising funds
through its annual “A Night to Paws” event in April. Since its inception in 2014, the event has
generated more than $220,000 for the organization.
The Humane Society of Eastern Carolina operates solely on private donations and does not
receive any funding from federal, state, or local governments. All money raised during A Night
to Paws makes a difference in the organization’s operations and allows for continued care of
homeless cats and dogs in Eastern North Carolina.
The sixth annual fundraiser dinner and silent auction is being held on Saturday, April 4 at from
6-10pm at Hilton Greenville. This year, the featured pet is Ruger Linder. Event tickets are $75
each and include a complimentary cocktail hour, a selection of passed hors d’oeuvres, and a
plated three-course dinner. The event will also utilize the mobile bidding system, BidPal. This
will allow supports to easily bid on nearly 200 silent auction packages and purchase raffle
tickets for various items through their cellphones. During the event, attendees will learn about
the Humane Society of Eastern Carolina, hear adoption testimonials, and enjoy entertainment
provided by popular band, Built for Comfort.
The Humane Society of Eastern North Carolina is also introducing corporate and local
sponsorships for the event. Organizers say this is a great way for local businesses and
individuals to help give an animal a second chance at life, a forever home, and assist in the
mission of the Humane Society of Eastern Carolina. For more information about sponsorship
opportunities and silent auction donations, as well as to purchase event tickets and raffle
tickets visit: https://one.bidpal.net/antp2020/

furry family member by visiting the adoption center at 3520 Tupper Drive in Greenville.
Operational hours are Thursday and Friday from 1:00 to 5:00pm, Saturday from 11:00am to
