About Us

The Oakwood School seeks to instill in our students the strength of character, the creativity, and the wisdom to make a difference in the world. We are an independent, non-sectarian, co-educational day school for grades PK3, PK4, and K-12 dually accredited by SAIS and Cognia. Oakwood currently serves students from across Greenville, Pitt County, and surrounding communities. The Oakwood School combines a rigorous academic curriculum with a wide variety of arts and athletic programs to nurture well-rounded student who have a passion for learning. We strive to develop a student's knowledge, character, sense of community, responsibility, and self-confidence.
