About Us

The Celibate Organization of North Carolina was established in October 2021, shortly after the pandemic. We have what we call “Pandemic Babies”. Our growth continues to progress, and change is helping us grow by leaps and bounds.

We are scripture-based: 1 Corinthians 7:8
''But to the unmarried and to the widows, I declare that it is well (good, advantageous, expedient, and wholesome) for them to remain single, even as I do.''

Our main objective is to help our youth remain pure until marriage. Our target audiences include: single celibate individuals, celibate widowers, celibate widows, celibate couples in courtship, young adults, high school students, college students, celibate divorcees, and of course, our beloved military spouses left behind while deployed.

Our mission is to partner with churches and agencies to emphasize the importance of maintaining sacred purity until marriage. What does that mean? It means practicing abstinence until marriage.

We take pride in our achievements, which include presenting Certificates of Discipline (Self-Control), Certificates of Complete Celibacy for Marriage, Certificates of Abstinence, Purity Rings, Journals, brochures, flyers, and Bibles. These are just a few of the items we provide to inspire, motivate, and offer hope and support from others who practice the same biblical principles. We are not a cult. We are not a sorority. We are simply people supporting people in moving away from worldly behavior.

Whatever stage you are in—whether it is discipline, abstinence, or celibacy—we welcome you wholeheartedly.
