The ECU Medical & Health Sciences Foundation's core mission is to provide resources to ensure student and faculty success and transform healthcare in the region. We are committed to honoring the values that have guided the progress of the university, and as we look into the future, will focus on values that will be key to the success of our continued growth: Scholarship, Leadership, Service, and Discovery.

As the ECU Medical & Health Sciences Foundation, we exist to provide resources to ensure and enrich student and faculty success and to transform healthcare in the region. We are governed by an independent board of directors who contribute generously of their time, talents and financial support. The Board members are responsible stewards of all gifts and they are committed to the highest levels of accountability and transparency in all they do. The ECU Medical & Health Sciences Foundation is a 501(c)(3) public charitable organization. Donations to the East Carolina University Medical & Health Sciences Foundation are deductible to the extent permitted by law.
