ABOUT THE PROGRAM
Starting a business without any guidance can be daunting. Why leap without having the tools to soar? Have an idea for a product or service but don’t know where to start? Here is your first step!

At Taking the Leap, a four-week long cohort of local prospective business owners, you will learn how to: • Identify potential markets • Learn your customers’ needs • Create a business plan • Understand business finances • Market your products and services

You’ll work with mentors and peers in fun breakout activities designed to help strengthen your business ideas and prepare you for success!

The seminar schedule is as follows:
• February 7: The Voice of Your Customer
• February 14: A Plan for Success
• February 21: Cash is King
• February 28: Pitch Night!

HOW TO APPLY
Classes will be conducted online simultaneously across six North Carolina regions, including Asheville, Charlotte, Greenville, Triad, Triangle, and Wilmington. Those interested in participating in the program should apply in the city closest to them.
