On the Run with Riley's Army 5K/ 1K Fun Run

We are excited to announce it's time to start planning our 6th Annual On the Run with Riley's Army 5K & Fun Run event! The 6th Annual "On the Run" with Riley's Army 5k Run and 1K Mile Fun Walk sponsored by Winterville Parks & Rec on Sunday, September 24th 2017 at Winterville Recreation Park.


Event Info:
This year's race will be held on Sunday September 24th 2017 with the 5K starting at 3:00 PM & the 1K Fun Run starting at approximately 3:15 PM this time.

We are changing the 1 Mile Fun Run to a 1K (0.7 mile) Walk/ Parade. We will start this shortly after the 5K race and have the participants "parade" different ways to go gold! We believe this will add a wonderful aspect to our event all those wanting to participate!

We will continue our tradition of "Field Day". We are expecting a huge family friendly afternoon of bouncy houses, snow cone truck, vendors, food, DJ, and more. We would love a huge crowd to cheer all our runners over the finish line. TO BE A VENDOR- contact Kimber Stone at 919-608-8421.

1K- $10 before Sept 2nd- guarantees you a race shirt and personalized bib, $15 after Sept 2nd

 

Team Discount- We would be honored to have your team join us for the run! A team is a group of 10 or more runners. They can register at a discounted price of $20 per person. 

 

In order to receive the Discounted TEAM Price your team may either:

After Sept 2nd - the new team discounted price will be $25 and we are not able to guarantee race shirt sizes and personalize bibs.

September is Pediatric Cancer Awareness month and we hope to end it with a huge race and community event that lends support to our children and their families as they battle cancer.
