The American Cancer Society’s Bark For Life is a fundraising event honoring the life-long contributions of our Canine Caregivers. It presents an opportunity for people to be empowered through their canine companion partnerships and to contribute to the mission of the American Cancer Society. Bark for Life of Pitt County, an event supporting Relay For Life of Pitt County will be held on Saturday, June 4, 2016 at Greensprings Park in Greenville, NC. A morning of food, music and fun with our furry best friends will begin at 9 A. M. Activities include a demonstration by the Greenville Police Department’s K-9 Unit, a demonstration by the Pitt Robotics Crew and a Doggie Pageant hosted by the Humane Society of Eastern North Carolina. Bruiser the Bulldog of Pitt Community College is also scheduled to join the fun! Luminaria balloons are also available in honor or memory of our canine companions and loved ones.
