"Archiving Place" a new exhibition at The Greenville Museum of Art (Opening)

The Greenville Museum of Art (GMoA) invites you to a new exhibition, "Archiving Place," opening on October 3, 2025. On display through March 14, 2026, this exhibition features the work of textile artists from the Southeast.

The show explores how artists interpret the concept of "place" through their personal experiences, using textiles to document everything from physical geography to emotional and virtual spaces. The artists are all members of the Southeast Fibers Educators Association (SEFEA), dedicated to both tradition and innovation in their field.

Admission to the museum and all exhibitions is free. Join us for the opening reception on October 3 from 5:00 to 8:00 PM to meet the artists.
